The Draft Feasibility Study/EIR/EIS has been released, and is available (either printed or on a CD-ROM) for interested parties by calling the Marin County Community Development Agency at (415) 499-6269. The document may also be viewed on the Corps of Engineers web site at http://www.spn.usace.army.mil/projects/bolinas.html, and copies are available in the County, Bolinas, Fairfax, and Stinson Beach Libraries, and the Seadrift office.
There will be a joint public hearing before the Marin County Planning Commission and the Marin County Parks, Open Space and Cultural Commission on Wednesday, July 24. The agenda time for our project will be available on July 19 at (415) 499-6269. Interested parties are encouraged to attend.
The documents are available for public review and comment until Monday, August 5, 2002 at 4:00 PM, by which time public comments may be submitted, in writing, to: Tim Haddad, Environmental Coordinator, Marin County Community Development Agency, 3501 Civic Center Drive, Room 308, San Rafael, CA 94903-4157.
Interested parties are encouraged to review the documents, attend the hearing, and submit your comments. Comments supporting the project are encouraged.
